Designed to make your stay memorable

Cheltenham is the Queen of the Cotswolds and Christchurch, a smart sought-after residential area, only a short stroll from the middle of town, around the corner from the station and within easy access of the motorway.

All the hustle and hum of shops and nightlife is within a 10 minute walk but the location, itself, is quiet and peaceful. When the trees are in leaf, looking across the sunny garden feels like being in deep country

Going to the races, visiting one of the festivals, shopping or sightseeing? At Christchurch House and The Garden Flat, we offer a stylish, comfortable, base for your holiday that combines eclectic interior design with quality fittings.

More than just a Regency town

Cheltenham, Queen of the Cotswolds, is more than just a historic tourist attraction although it is, without doubt, a splendid example of a Regency spa town.

It has been called the nicest place to live in Britain. And rightly so. It has all the benefits of a vibrant urban environment but is surrounded by - and has easy access to - glorious rolling countryside.

A university keeps it youthful while the well established academic festivals introduce culture. It is a place that inspires creation: Holst lived here; Superdry started here. It was Brian Jones home town.

In the winter months, racegoers arrive en masse to enjoy the meets at the course in Prestbury. The highlight of the season is the famous Gold Cup but some of the lesser known races can be just as exciting. New Year’s Day, in particular, is a fabulous way to start the year.

Eating out

The Ivy group rescued this beautiful building from the clutches of a high street bank and turned it into a slick eaterie. There are plenty of good restaurants in Cheltenham from Michelin 2 star to street food.
